Dead Ebola Victims....Resurrected?

I'm not kidding on this one. I have read the story several times and I AM reading it correctly.

According to www.allAfrica.com two women, one in her 40's and one in her 60's, fell victim to the deadly Ebola virus. The women were in two separate communities and died around the same time. Both women were in the process of being taken for burial when they "resurrected". As most would imagine, this is causing even more panic in an already chaotic situation.

The logical side of my brain says that there has to be a reasonable explanation. They were most likely in a coma...something. Maybe no one wanted to touch them or check their pulse and they just assumed they were dead. Then there's the side of my brain that really needs to be wrapped in tin-foil and it's whispering..."The zombie apocalypse has to have a starting point." Hell it might be best if I just wrap my whole head.

Good Luck West Africa.....really.

Are You Really Ready?

With all of the things that we are witnessing daily it's hard not to ask, "Are we really ready"? I have never experienced, nor witnessed, things that we are seeing daily on the news and in our own backyards. What is even more frightening is after speaking to people who are in their 70's and 80's....they say the same.

The President of this country has no problem writing one  Executive Order after the other when things don't go his way. He also has no problem bragging about "having" to do it on National television. I guess that is about as far as his transparency goes. Our borders are WIDE open with this administration basically giving an invitation for one and all to head on across. While hard-working Americans, and more shamefully United State Veterans, struggle daily to put food on the table and get medical attention, the ILLEGAL ALIENS are coming in and getting set up with assistance. There have been several reports from reputable sources that most of these ILLEGALS are not even being completely and properly screened for health issues. What are they bringing to our communities?

So let me ask YOU....Are you ready?

Imagine after getting off of work one afternoon you hear about an altercation between law enforcement and a suspect. What would normally be routine, ends up becoming a cascade of falling dominoes as the suspect is shot and killed. The catalyst is that he was supposedly an innocent unarmed man. One thing leads to another and before you know it half of your town is up in arms and are protesting. "Peaceful" protests turn into looting and destroying everything in sight. Regardless of who was right and who was wrong...are you prepared to take care of yourself and your family in a situation like this? In St. Louis, Missouri....Ferguson, to be exact...we are seeing this happen now on a level that is mind-blowing. I'll save my opinion on this powder keg for another time, but this is an example of why we need to ask ourselves are we ready? Do we have a plan??

Are you ready for the morning you wake up and turn on your television or radio to find out that there is a huge problem with your water?  The newscaster is reporting that everyone is being advised NOT to boil it because it will cause more problems. It is recommended not to wash dishes, clothes, brush your teeth, give to your pets or bathe in it. Now think about this for a minute....and don't think it can't or won't happen because it just did in Ohio two weeks ago. Are you prepared to take care of all cooking and drinking needs for your family and pets, as well as, all cleaning and hygiene issues?  Within hours every convenience store, grocery store and chain store was sold completely out of every form of bottled water. People traveled long distances to find more while others stood in line for hours only to be given a six pack or five gallons. Are you ready to do this for three to four days?

In my lifetime the only kind of medical concern on a national level was swine flu. Although I'm no big fan of Obama, when he interrupted TV on Sunday morning with his speech about the possible outbreak he got my attention. Having three kids, I decided to stock up on extra things like soups, sprite and Gatorade in case one of the them got sick so I wouldn't have to juggle taking care of them and running out for what was needed. As luck had it, I got sick and it WAS Swine Flu. My husband had his hands full trying to help care for me and keep the house running. It was so bad I fluctuated between fearing I was surely on death's door and begging God to take me. Had I not planned ahead for "just in case", my poor husband would have had a much harder time. So think about this.....as I mentioned above, our borders are wide open with people bringing God knows what with them. We are watching the worst outbreak of Ebola in history with no slow down of air traffic to the infected areas. Those people are fleeing in hoards and they could very well be infecting the people they walk and sit by in the airports and airplane. See where I'm going with this? Ebola is no joke....it's worse than your worst nightmare. Are you ready to quarantine your family in your home for a few weeks if a case popped up in your area? This would mean having enough food, water, toiletries and pet supplies on hand. This could be a mandatory quarantine or this could be a decision that you make for your family's safety. Are you ready for the massive panic and chaos that could come with the announcement of an outbreak? This may seem far-fetched and not a possible reality in our world, but most things seem that way until they happen the first time. There's a first time for everything.

These are only a few scenarios, and quiet honestly, they are scenarios I never thought of as being an actual reality.... even with my active imagination.... until a few weeks ago. I asked myself if we were ready and we weren't completely ready for any of these scenarios. The good thing is that although things are financially tight for everyone these days, it's not hard to get ready. Even if you aren't "completely" ready, something is always better than nothing. I, for one, do not plan to be one of the ones sitting in line for two hours waiting on a six pack of water unless absolutely necessary. You can't depend on anyone to take care of you and your family except yourself. Take a few seconds from your daily routine and just give it a thought.....are YOU ready?

More Media Bias and Double Standards Regarding Racial Issues

Michael Brown and Ferguson has captured the world and media's attention, but there seems to be a much larger story that is NOT being reported. I recently wrote about the two Veteran's in West Point, MS that were beaten by a black mob. Thankfully the Sheriff has called in the FBI to investigate this particular incident, but I decided to cast a net and see what else I could find. I wanted to know if there were more incidents that were not getting media coverage, and one that I found was chilling.

McDonald's recently lost a  three year lawsuit for negligence resulting in a win of $27 million payable to the family of eighteen year old Denton James Ward. What this family, as well as the families of three other teens involved, has experienced and endured reads more like a horror movie than a fleeting story on the Internet. Brace yourself because it is a tough one to swallow.

Four young suburban college kids double-dated to a concert and afterwards decided to stop at the "University McDonald's" near Texas A&M. These four kids who thought that they had no worries, other than term papers and their college majors, had no idea that pulling in to grab a bite to eat would result in death. The parking lot was full of near 400 young black men, but these four young people thought nothing of it because this was supposed to be a safe area. They had no idea that after midnight there had been many problems at this particular place. They had no idea that just minutes before their arrival a gun had been pulled during a fight inside. The manager didn't call the police but just sent the party outside. Ward and his friend Tanner Giesen hopped out of the truck to run to the restroom, while the girls went through the drive thru. As they walked towards the door Giesen remembers a black male yelling, "You're in the wrong neck of the woods cowboy!" An altercation immediately ensued. Giesen was knocked out. Ward was on the ground and circled by a crazy mob being kicked, jumped on and stomped to a literal pulp. The girls pulled around from the drive thru to this chilling scene and ran from the vehicle to try to rescue their two friends. With the help of a few good Samaritans nearby, some of them being black females, they were able to pull the two young men to the vehicle and heeded a warning from one of their "guardian angels" to leave quickly because it wasn't safe. Ward could not walk or speak and was bleeding profusely. One of the few white patrons that were present was a Veteran Marine that said the kids face just "did not look natural". A terrorized Samantha Bean took the wheel while a frantic Lauren Bailey Crisp was in the back doing anything she could for Ward. They rushed to the hospital, terrified that the mob would follow, only to run a red light and get hit by a Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle of four traumatized young people spun out of control and hit a light pole. Denton James Ward and Lauren Bailey Crisp were pronounced dead at the scene. At first the police considered charging Bean for the deaths until pathologist determined that Ward had died from the beaten he had taken at McDonald's.

Back at McDonald's the mob had gotten so out of hand that when the law enforcement officer arrived he had to grab his AR-15. Giesen's abdomen had a boot print and he suffers episodes of amnesia due to brain damage. The investigation was almost impossible because there were no outdoor surveillance cameras, no security and there were no cooperative witnesses. Marcus Jamal Jones, known as "Plucky" to friends, was the only arrest made. He ONLY SERVED A 90 DAY JAIL SENTENCE FOR MISDEMEANOR ASSAULT!

Let me ask....where is the justice for these four young lives? Two lives were lost and two altered forever? Families were devastated for absolutely no reason and they have no recourse. The $27 million that McDonald's paid for their negligence is small consolation to the grieving parents. One must ask why this story did not make national news and why someone did not scream from the rooftops HATE CRIME!! I can not even imagine if the skin color had been reversed. What would have happened? I can guarantee that not only would blacks be protesting and demanding justice, but whites would have been as well. So why didn't it happen for these kids? Were they not as important as Michael Brown?

Marine Veteran Victim of Black Mob....Hate Crime?

There have been many incidents over the past week that are similar to the situation in Ferguson that did not result in riots or protests, but one that I heard about tonight makes me wonder just what the hell is going on in America.

Saturday night a Veteran Marine, Ralph Weems and Air Force Veteran, David Knighten, attempted to enter a Waffle House in West Point, MS. A patron in the parking lot warned Knighten not to go inside because it was predominately a black crowd and it may not be safe for whites. I have also read other stories that have reported that the group were up-in-arms over the Michael Brown situation. By the time he made it inside Weems was already in an altercation. The cops were called and the two men left. The two men decided to head home, but stopped at a Huddle House that seemed pretty much vacant, only to find that they had been followed by about twenty people from the Waffle House. The chaos escalated and Knighten reportedly tried to diffuse the trouble when a security guard told everyone to leave and go home. As people filed out Knighten found that the door was being blocked and he was prevented from going outside. When he was finally able to get out the door he found Weems on the ground being kicked and beaten. While racial slurs were yelled they turned on him. Knighten reported on a Facebook post that his injuries were minor, but according to www.NOLA.com Weems is in a medically induced coma following brain surgery. One would think that this qualifies as a hate crime, but Sheriff Brinkley states "This does not appear to be a hate crime," he said. "It's very early in this investigation but thus far the evidence and statements suggest that a verbal altercation turned physical and somebody got hurt." At this point I have not seen this hit the national news channels in the manner Ferguson did. I have not seen any protest in the street demanding justice. What is even more appalling to me is the fact that these two guys were VETERANS! They fought for whites and blacks to enjoy the freedoms of congregating in a Waffle House and having the freedom to even have an opinion. Wow....what gratitude!

News of a white cop shooting an unarmed black man hit the news in a flash. Although I was not there when Michael Brown and Officer Darren Wilson's path crossed, I do have enough common sense to wait for the facts before vilifying a cop trying to do his job. Facts started slowly slipping out that Michael Brown had just robbed a store before coming across Officer Wilson, and also that Officer Wilson sustained serious facial injuries. He didn't sustain those injuries from a gentle giant who was peacefully putting his hands up. None of these "slow-to-surface" facts made a difference....they still protested, rioted and looted. The screams for "justice" seem to be equated with "crucify him or else". So if it IS found that this Officer was doing his job and that he had indeed been attacked where does that leave Ferguson? Where does that leave us?

Something is terribly wrong in our nation where wrong is right and right is wrong. Our road is leading to a disastrous destination with our embracing of double-standards and political correctness. These incidents don't need to be fueled with race-baiters and hate, but handled with common sense and level heads. In this very moment we have more issues and problems than most of our older generations have dealt with......AND WITH VERY LITTLE LEADERSHIP. Our American "prefixes" need to be dropped and we need to look at each other as red blooded Americans and not African Americans, Hispanic Americans or White Americans. We need to shut the agitators out and start teaching our children responsibility and accountability so that they may pick up the pieces of what we are now destroying and rebuild this great nation.

Ebola....Connecting Some Dots

We are witnessing the worst Ebola outbreak in history. Most people have seen The Stand or Outbreak and we've heard of the disease, but it has always been that nasty little bug that they have to deal with "over there." For the first time in history....as of tomorrow we will have the first two confirmed cases on U.S. soil and we brought them here. So lets first get a few basics out of the way

WHAT IS THE INCUBATION PERIOD AND HOW DO YOU CATCH IT
The "talking heads" on TV and in the mainstream media will tell you there is nothing to worry about. It would fizzle out here because of our hygiene. It's difficult to catch except by bodily fluids. It can't be spread by walking in a room with someone. etc. etc. etc. Oh and it's also said that you can't catch it unless you are with the person while they are symptomatic...vomiting, diarrhea. Well guess what? We are seeing all of that to be FALSE. Of course you can check the links to WHO and CDC and they will give you this run down but if you want to know the truth all you need to do is look at the eyewitness accounts of what is actually happening.

Incubation is between 2-22 days. That means the person can carry it that long before manifesting any symptoms. It is also widely rumored that the person affected bleeds out from every orifice, but that is not true in all cases. As I said they would have you believe that for those 2-22 days of incubation the infected can walk around and everyone is safe....WRONG.

Is a Person Contagious During the Ebola Incubation Period?
Even if a person exhibits no signs or symptoms of Ebola, he or she can still spread the virus during the Ebola incubation period. Once Ebola virus symptoms begin, the person can remain contagious for about three more weeks.

THIS WOULD MEAN THAT ANYONE THAT HAD CONTACT DURING INCUBATION PERIOD...NOT JUST AFTER SYMPTOMS START COULD BE INFECTED

Now with that in mind......lets start tracking. I'm going to make this as simple as possible with links and only snippets from articles.

PATRICK SAWYER (Suspected Patient Zero)
This gentleman is a Liberian/American and Finance Ministry Consultant in Liberia. His family lives in Minnesota with one of the highest concentrations of Liberians outside of the country itself. Basically it is alleged that he had been taking care of his sister who had Ebola. He went through two flights and died after departing the second. (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/ebola-doctors-told-prepare-global-3933249#ixzz38uwjfDw0)

You have to wonder with all of that air that is re-circulated and a man as ill as he was on the plan....what about all the others that were on the plane? Did anyone touch a seat he had touched after he may have wiped his brow from sweat pouring from his head? What about the attendant that may have walked by and served or disposed of any of his garbage or napkins? All of these people could be ticking Ebola bombs....where are they and how many people have they come into contact with? Oh but it gets crazy once he gets to the hospital..

Once at the hospital the staff reported Mr. Sawyer as behaving very strangely with rage and "indiscipline". He denied having any contact with anyone infected although he had been caring for his sister who died from Ebola. The medical staff still wanted to test him despite his wishes and did so.

http://frontpageafricaonline.com/index.php/news/2506-sawyer-s-final-hours-in-lagos-indiscipline-rage-strange
"FrontPageAfrica has now learned that upon being told he had Ebola, Mr. Sawyer went into a rage, denying and objecting to the opinion of the medical experts. “He was so adamant and difficult that he took the tubes from his body and took off his pants and urinated on the health workers, forcing them to flee."

MINNESOTA
So what's so special about Minnesota? I'm sure it is a beautiful place to see. I love to travel, but you couldn't pay me to go anywhere near there for a while. Being the home to the largest community of Liberians in the U.S., you can imagine the fear that they are facing knowing that their loved ones are in a hot zone. There have been mission trips cancelled and the most disturbing of all is that many of these people have been sending money and tickets to try to fly their families out....to here....Minnesota. Take a second and glance over this article posted by the Star Tribune. It went so far as to say that Emergency Personnel and First Responders in the area would be wearing precautionary garb when dealing with cases of illness because of the fact that they just don't know what they could be potentially facing. http://www.startribune.com/lifestyle/health/269766891.html

THE TWO AMERICAN MISSIONARIES
God Bless our Military and God Bless our Missionaries.....both who put their lives in harms way and daily sacrifice for God and Country.

Dr. Kent Brantley and his assistant Nancy Writebol were both working and treating Ebola patients in Monrovia and both have contracted the disease. Dr. Brantley has been noted for being meticulously careful and took double precautions which included: full body cover, multiple layer gloves, goggles and face protection. How is it that one so careful could get this monster through double protection?

What's more troubling is that Dr. Brantley's family were with him up until about 2 days before he became symptomatic. They flew home for a family function not knowing that he was indeed ill. They are on "fever watch". Remember what I posted in the beginning about the incubation time and being contagious above? Kind of makes you go hmmmmm..... God willing this woman and her babies don't get sick. I can't imagine the torment that she is going through.

After much criticism from the general public and some not-so-general like Donald Trump, Dr. Brantley was brought back on Saturday making him the first American with Ebola on American soil. The night before his departure he was listed as being in "grave" condition but I guess that 20 hr plane ride did some good because he walked right out of the back of that ambulance in his protective suit and into the building. Mrs. Writebol will arrive tomorrow and they will then be cared for at Emory University Hospital.

Now want to hear something else that will make you shake your head? What would you expect they would do with all of the waste from these patients? This would include the vomit and feces?? Well they are gonna just flush it! Yep....right into the public sewer system. "They" say there is no chance of problems arising from this. I'm still shaking my head on this one. Why not burn it to be sure? http://www.webmd.com/news/20140801/american-ebola-patients-returning-us?page=2

MEDICAL STAFF THAT CARED FOR MR. SAWYER
As of now there are 4 being tested with the Dr. who helped treat him coming back positive. I am not 100% certain but I believe that the number has gone up to eight.

AFRICAN ENVOY TO VISIT THE WHITE HOUSE
These are people from the INFECTED area and the Big O says it's on.  Invites have gone out to folks in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leon. What is concerning is that some of the diplomats who are supposed to be coming allegedly came into contact with Mr. Sawyer!

"Following a patient's death, contact tracing is conducted by health practitioners to track all who interacted with the victim to be placed in isolation and monitored for the required 21-day incubation period of the virus.

Following the death of a Liberian, Patrick Sawyer in Nigeria who tested positive of the virus Nigerian officials reported via the media a list of more than 40 persons, including its ambassador to Liberia as those who made contact with Sawyer prior to his death but the envoy has denied any contact with the late Sawyer.

Local and international media reported that Ambassador Chigozie Obi-Nnadozie and 58 others may have had contact with the late Patrick Sawyer on board the Asky flight to Nigeria but the envoy has denied the reports."

I understand that this is ALOT of info, and I've tried to break it down and not bombard with a bunch on statistics and unnecessary details. I'm just trying to link things up and give you an idea of how all of this is unfolding and how we as Americans can possibly be affected by this. Just think of all of these people who are in contact with others and it forms a spider web so-to-speak. All of the talking heads seem to repeat the same script that just doesn't seem to coincide with what is actually happening.

Before I close this post I'd like to post a copy of an account that just took place over there. This will give you an idea of what chaos and hell really is.

http://frontpageafri...pital-shut-down

Tokpa Tarnue, a local journalist on the scene told FrontPageAfrica Wednesday that the majority of the suspected patients were in a holding room at the Tellewoyan Memorial Hospital while awaiting their departure for a treatment and isolation center in Foya when they abruptly left their room and moved into other wards that later resulted to all health workers escaping the hospital compound in deep fear.

According to the journalist, the suspected patients managed to leave the hospital premises and ran into various homes and streets, a situation that caused severe panic among citizens and residents of Voinjama who were likewise escaping from the patients fearing not to contract the deadly Ebola virus. He told FrontPageAfrica that for several hours Voinjama was like a ghost town as many residents escaped the city while others locked themselves in their homes.

Said the local journalist: “Everybody left. They had suspected Ebola patients in a holding room that is not well equipped. They are normally kept there before they are taken to Foya. In the process of doing that, those suspected patients left their wards and stating entering the children's ward and other places while they were vomiting and releasing feces at the same time. Based on that the entire hospital staff all left including the doctors and nurses. Up to now they have not gone back to work.”

Prayers for our Country, their Countries and all those affected. More to come......
